Clean & Co is run by its founder, Hayley Leitch, a UK cleaning expert, television presenter and author whose hands-on experience spans demanding public spaces, stately homes, castles and homes across the USA.
Hayley presented twelve episodes of Channel 5’s Dirty Home Rescue and led the “Swab Squad” on Channel 4’s Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, tackling some of the UK’s dirtiest public spaces, including swimming pools. Her television work has seen her take on extraordinary cleaning challenges, combining practical expertise with determination and an exceptional eye for detail.
As a regular guest cleaning expert on Steph’s Packed Lunch and BBC’s Morning Live, Hayley shared her best cleaning tips, clever techniques and practical advice with viewers nationwide.

What does a weekly Clean & Co visit include?
Every contract is specified to the building, but a standard weekly office visit covers the five areas below.
Desks, meeting rooms and shared spaces
Workstations, meeting rooms and breakout areas cleaned and reset, with clear-desk arrangements where you use them, so the space is ready for staff and visitors.
Kitchens and staff areas
Worktops, sinks and shared surfaces sanitised weekly, with fridges, microwaves and appliances deep cleaned on a rotating monthly schedule.
Washrooms
Toilets, basins and floors cleaned and disinfected, consumables restocked, and limescale kept in check rather than left to build up.
High-touch points
Door handles, light switches, bannisters, stair rails and shared equipment sanitised every visit. These are the surfaces that actually spread illness through an office.
Floors, entrances and rotational tasks
Carpets vacuumed, hard floors swept and mopped, entrance matting cleaned, plus a monthly rota covering skirtings, windowsills, cobwebs and high-level dusting.

Who is behind Clean & Co?
Clean & Co was founded and is run by Hayley Leitch, a UK cleaning and hygiene expert. Hayley was asked to present twelve episodes of Channel 5’s Dirty Home Rescue, led the "swab squad" on Channel 4’s Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners and on Steph’s Packed Lunch, and is the author of Coming Clean: Living with OCD. She is actively involved in the business and works on client sites.

Yes. Every member of the Clean & Co team is DBS checked. This matters on sites where cleaning happens out of hours, around confidential paperwork, in nurseries, or anywhere staff work unsupervised. Certificates are available on request before your contract starts.
What size premises do you clean?
Our typical clients are offices, studios, workshops, retail units and community buildings with roughly 5 to 60 staff desks. We are best suited to single-site businesses in Mid Sussex rather than multi-site national contracts. Larger premises within the area can be site assssed following a free site visit.
Do you clean outside office hours?
Yes. Clean & Co offers early morning, evening and weekend cleaning so your premises are cleaned without disrupting your working day. Out-of-hours slots are agreed when your contract is set up and we can hold keys or use your access system by arrangement.
Do you supply the cleaning products and equipment?
Yes. Clean & Co can supply eco-friendly cleaning products and all equipment, so there is nothing for you to order, store or manage. Bin liners and washroom consumables can be included in your contract or supplied by you, whichever you prefer.
Will I get the same cleaner every week?
Yes. We assign a consistent, named cleaner to your site rather than rotating agency staff. Cleans are not subcontracted to third parties. Consistency is how standards hold, because the same person learns your building, your access arrangements and the details that matter to you.
How do I know the work has actually been done?
We have full confidence that after our first clean you will know! however we can supply a end-of-clean hygiene log, which is left on site after every visit, recording the date, the areas covered and who carried out the work. Before-and-after photographs can also be provided. This gives you a documented record for health and safety compliance, insurers, audits and inspections.
Are you insured and accredited?
Yes. Clean & Co holds £5,000,000 public liability insurance, the team is DBS checked, and our cleaning methods follow COSHH requirements and BICSc standards. Documentation is supplied on request.
